Grant Chapel AME Church is a local congregation of the worldwide African Methodist Episcopal Church (AMEC).  It is part of the Tyler District, North Texas Annual Conference.  The North Texas Annual Conference is one of the four conferences comprising the Tenth Episcopal District, AMEC.  The Reverend Darrell G Caldwell. is the Presiding Elder of the Tyler District.  The Right Reverend Gregory G. M. Ingram is the Presiding Bishop of the Tenth Episcopal District.
